Red cat says "chill, dude".

This cat needs espresso. This cat needs caffeine. There's no way he can be that chill.

Cool red cat chillaxes

Red cats are one of the world's rare extremophiles. When they can be found they are generally found underfoot reclining near food sources. They also wear their sunglasses at night.

Tuxedo cat on chair

Well, the cat's not sketchy, but the drawing is. Well, the drawing is sketchy, but the technique is... uh, no... well... yeah, sketchy. Our tuxedo queen again presents a striking pattern of black and white, and a regal gaze.

Tuxedo cat on red

We have one long-haired tuxedo queen. The coat pattern lends itself to striking blocks of black and white that can be played abstractly in positive and negative space. I like to charge the drawing with a viewing challenge. Here the blocks of colour are seen first, then it resolves into "cat".

Tuxedo cat figures things out.

The cat responsible for Global Warming

Process is sometimes a curious thing to follow. Just make a mark and don't judge it. Make another and follow along until something happens.
This cartoon started out
while I opened up Brushes app again  and just fooled around with some tools. Later, when something overriding intellectual kicked in, I realized that I loved the mad mad mad expression and decided that the mouse wasn't right. Really it needed the earth as a toy.
Then about two weeks later, something else kicked in. Responding to a graphic posted on g+, thinking that the imagery was a bit wrong and arguably misleading about it's implication - the sun as Pac Man was approaching the earth - I though the cat was perfect. Paint him hot, red and orange.

The insomnia monster jumbo mug

Why can't I be awake in the daytime and sleep at night? Isn't that how things are really supposed to be? Don't talk to me until I have finished this 20 oz, geez, yes, ½ a litre of expresso.

The insomnia monster t-shirt

The only cure for insomnia is just to get back to sleep, dammit. In the meantime, wear a t-shirt to warn the others away.

The water-colour cat on red mugs

Coffee is cat food for humans. Right?

Zazzle offers different sized mugs. The smaller one, I suppose, is the normal cup of coffee size. 325 ml is the 11 oz size, for those who don't speak American. Jumbo mug below is .591 ml or 20 oz in American. That's one third of a litre.

Language isn't an issue for the cat. It speaks cat. Only.

There are a number of filters for photos available on the iPad. Yes, this is more iPad art: practically everything I do anymore. So this was done also in various drawing and painting apps; ASKetch, Popsicolor, Waterlogue, Procreate.

Red-orange and orange and yellow colour-field

Rothko. Drinking coffee. Hot coffee. This mug. Think of it.
Oh, well, maybe he just kept his brushes in it.

This seems like a pretty intense focus to watch the seconds of your life slip by. Can't look away....
